I'm Back

Okay, so I decided after much deliberation I decided to make a go of blogging again. To be honest I just haven't been in the mood to blog and there really hasn't been too many exciting things happening around here, but I'll attempt to get caught up on this thing.

I'll make the posts short and sweet but more often I think.

Our Valentine's Day.

We made this fun banner as a family one afternoon before the 14th. It was a little cheap kit I found at Target, and it really was fun to make this together. Each of us did a couple of letters and strung it all together... the picture doesn't do it's cuteness justice.

These beautiful tulips were from Brad for me... they are my favorite flowers.

This is an attempt at a picture to email to our family members... yes I am cheesy like that and buy my children matching outfits... I found the girls dresses at H&M for $5.95 and I couldn't pass up an opportunity to have all three of them matching. I resisted the pink shirt I found for Rylan knowing his father would not be impressed in the least.

The table all set for our family brunch. I can't say it was full of love like Valentine's day is supposed to be... apparently my children did not get the memo. Oh well, it was good to be together with the ones I love the most.

The kids opened their little Valentine's treat bags and we all exchanged cards and notes together. Brad and I were able to get out and enjoy dinner and a movie with great friends in the evening too. I actually really like Valentine's day and another excuse to celebrate love and being together. Because I haven't been in the blogging mood, I neglected to take pics of the cupcakes I sent to school with the girls on the Friday before, or the heart shaped scones I made for our earling morning breaky before church... told ya I like Valentine's Day!
